Uncle Bill's Pancake House
Where Is It? Just a few steps from the beach, in front of Congress Hall.
Why Should I Go? Bill isn’t your uncle (or, at least, chances are pretty good that he’s not), but guests are consistently treated like family when they dine here. And they’re consistently treated to a delicious meal.
Ever walk by a restaurant and get instantly hungry? Those smells hit you, your appetite was sparked, and the tummy started rumbling. This is what happens when you pass by Uncle Bill’s.
The lovely aromas drift 35.5 feet around the restaurant (we’ve made exhaustive scientific measurements) and you’ll see people streaming into the place from all angles for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Once inside, you’ll find out that the hearty breakfasts don’t disappoint. The fact that many of the booths in this circular building have views of the Atlantic doesn’t hurt. For an even better view, try and snag an outside table — a perfect spot for breakfast or a filling lunch from their extensive lunch menu.
Insider Tip: Breakfast is served all day from 6:30am — visit before 9am and after 11am to avoid the crowds. Uncle Bill’s now accepts credit cards, but there is also an ATM on-site if you need to grab some cash for the rest of your beach day.
